Jessica made her stage debut as Snow White in a primary school production at the sweet age of seven. Since then she’s performed or worked with University of Melbourne, St. Martins Youth Theatre, Accessible Arts NSW, Melbourne Fringe Festival, Arts Access Victoria, Opera Australia, Australian Theatre of the Deaf, and Frankston Arts Centre and more. She is a graduate of the University of Southern Queensland with a Bachelor of Arts (Theatre Theory) with Distinction.
Ilana Charnelle Gelbart
Ilana is a graduate of Monash University, achieving a Bachelor of Performing Arts (Honours). During her time at Monash, Ilana appeared in shows including ‘Blood Wedding’, ‘Loveplay’ and ‘The 39 Steps’. She originated the role of Kat in Daniel Lammin’s controversial play, ‘The Cutting Boys’. Her reprisal of this role in 2014 was praised as, “the stand out performance…such skill that I still get goose bumps when I think of it” (source). In her Honours year, Ilana researched the use of Auslan to create unique bilingual theatre. Ilana is also a proudly accredited paraprofessional Auslan/English interpreter.
